We are thrilled to spotlight one of our incredible graduates, Ashleigh , who has truly made her mark in the beauty industry!
Ashleigh completed her hair apprenticeship with one of our esteemed former hairstyling trainers Elesha at @hairbyelesharae and both the beginners and advanced makeup courses at TBA. She also gained hands-on experience by participating in wedding expos with Maggie.
Ashleigh is the proud owner of @loveisinthehairbyashleigh where she works as a hairdresser in Hoppers Crossing part-time. She is also a full-time mobile hair stylist for weddings and events, and she operates a home studio, showcasing her versatility and dedication to her craft.
Currently, Ashleigh is busy freelancing for weddings and events, traveling all over Victoria to provide her amazing services.
Ashleigh’s talent hasn’t gone unnoticed! She recently secured 2nd place in the ABIA Bridal Hairstylist Award for Victoria 2024 and also achieved 2nd place in the WIA Award for Greater Melbourne 2024.
We couldn’t be prouder of Ashleigh and all that she has accomplished since graduating from TBA. Her journey is a testament to the hard work and passion that drives our students to success!

With a background in working for Napoleon and freelancing as a wedding makeup artist, Maggie has showcased her talent by creating stunning fashion looks for numerous red-carpet events.
Her work has been featured in prestigious publications like Vogue, Girlfriend Magazine, and Melbourne Bridal and Fashion World. Maggie's exceptional skills and dedication earned her the Makeup Artist of the Year ABIA Awards in both 2013 and 2014. As the founder of Tamarua Beauty Academy, which has been operating successfully for over 10 years, Maggie has led the school to a top 4 ranking in Australia.

Sarah is the owner of "Beauty By Sarah Meilak from the western suburbs. She has a great range of different beauty services including eyelash extensions, facials, hair and makeup.
